A stunning copy of this Booker Prize-winning novel, published in the US as Schindler's List. The US title also serves as the namesake for the 1993 American film adaptation, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes, Caroline Goodall, Jonathan Sagall, and Embeth Davidtz. Though initially hesitant to create a film dealing with elements of the Holocaust, Spielberg eventually accepted the project with a documentary mindset, filming in black and white and featuring a moving score by John Williams.

The film was met with worldwide acclaim, both a major critical and commercial success, and is now regarded as one of the greatest films ever made. It garnered twelve Academy Award nominations, of which it won seven (including Best Picture), among a host of other nominations and awards. The film has also been ranked in the top ten best American films of all time by the American Film Institute and was chosen in 2004 for preservation by the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress.
