    Thomas Fuller. The Histories of the Holy Warre. Cambridge: Printed by Roger Daniel, and are to be sold by John Williams, 1647. Third edition. [Bound with:] The Holy State. Cambridge: R[oger] D[aniel] for John Williams, 1648. Second edition. [And:] The Profane State. Cambridge: Printed by Roger Daniel for John Williams, 1648.

    Folio. [xviii], 286, [28, Chronology]; [viii], 339; [ii], 343-510 pages. Two engraved title pages. Woodcut initials and chapter headings. Some half-page woodcuts in The Holy State and The Profane State, notably Paracelsus and Francis Drake.

    Later three-quarter black leather over marbled boards with gilt spine titles. All edges red. Some noticeable wear to the boards. Joints and corners lightly worn. Top corner of the "declaration of the Frontispice" torn away. Marginal closed paper tear to B4 and last leaf. Uneven toning and foxing throughout, heavy in the first 150 pages of Histories. Fore-edge marginal loss to B2, affecting a few words of text. A good copy.
