A very rare and historically important journal from Philadelphia's American Museum, this institutional organ provided thinkers with an intellectual feast during the nation's earliest years. Essays collected for publication spanned all manner of topics, including business, agriculture, and current events. This particular issue addresses the upcoming National Constitutional Convention to be held in Philadelphia in an article entitled, " Resolutions of the assembly of the Pennsylvania, fixing the time and the order of electing delegates to convention". Even browning, very light foxing on several leaves. loose binding. Overall Very Good condition. Accompanying this item is an April, 1969 issue of "the Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography". The journal contains an article by Robert W. Sellen entitled, "The American Museum, 1787-1792, As A Forum For Ideas Of American Foreign Policy". Fine condition.
