Williamsburg: William Hunter, 1752. First edition. Folio (14 x 8.5 inches; 355.6 x 215.9 mm). [2], vi, 445, [1, errata] pp. Contemporary calf over boards. Heavy wear, scuffed and stained, with moderate losses to calf exposing boards underneath, top board detached but present, amateur cello tape repairs to front joint, not holding, backstrip lacking, exposing spine. Unevenly toned, moderate foxing, some amateur repairs, ink notations to text in table of contents and in some margins, some dampstaining. i-ii, iii-4 loose but present, remaining hinges extremely fragile. Evans 6941, without subscriber list; Sabin 100388, notes that not all copies were issued with subscriber's list. Fair.
