Publisher's full purple cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Lacking the dust jacket. Spine sunned, head- and tailcaps worn, some sunning and light wear to board edges, minor soiling to boards, mild foxing to endleaves, a few gutters slightly overopened. Theodora Eliot Smith's ownership printed name on front free endpaper. Rear blanks unopened. Still, a very good copy with an excellent association. Gallup A.39.b. From a T. S.
