The front jacket flap and front free endpaper of "A" Is for Alibi are torn away, and "D" is for Deadbeat is an ex-library copy with tape on the binding, library inkstamps and library pocket. Jackets generally rubbed, some light soiling to some jackets and books. Generally, very good. From a private collection in North Carolina.

    Signed at a later date by the author on the title-page.  With another (earlier) signature by Walker on a blank label, affixed to the lower portion of the title-page (not covering any text). With review slip. Octavo. [viii], 247, [1, blank] pages. Publisher's red cloth backstrip over gray paper boards, boards stamped in red, spine lettered in silver, dust jacket. Jacket spine a bit sunned, minor rubbing to jacket, binding, else fine.
