    Strenna Italiana Anno XIX. Milano, Venezia e Verona: Paolo Ripamonti Carpano, 1853. Large octavo. 222, [2, "Indice"] pages. Cream paper over boards illustrated in light and dark blue, decoratively embossed and accented in gilt and front cover with hand-colored central cameo additionally decorated with foil details. Staining to spine and front board, minor edgewear. Blue endpapers, book label of Paul Edward Chevalier to front free endpaper recto. Internally generally clean and tight, all edges gilt; minor foxing. Housed in custom cream and brown linen clamshell case with gilt-lettered spine; some soiling to spine and upper board. Very good.
