Corners abraded. Spine with insect spotting. Front hinge a bit weak but holding. Internally clean and in very good condition.More Information:
One of the earliest histories of the game. Contains a history of the early days crediting New Yorker Alex J. Cartwright and the Knickerbocker Club with the invention of the game, mentioning Abner Doubleday only in passing. Also contains a review of the 1910 season, pitching instructions, a review of the minor league, and star plays and players.
