Publisher's binding. Covers well worn with threading and abraded corners. Rear joint split with abrasion. Rear hinge starting, though both somewhat weak. Pages with very light toning and foxing throughout. One illustration at page 52 separated. Folding map at rear has some tape repair to verso. Bookplate. Otherwise, generally a very good copy of this scarce item.
