Presentation copy from Sinclair Lewis to his wife, Grace Hegger, inscribed on the front free endpaper: "To my wife, - who has / so often had our own / little Main Street in Putnam / in search of "goodies" for / her Man.- / Xmas, 1920. / and from / Sinclair Lewis." Octavo. 451 pages.

    Publisher's blue cloth with orange and blue titles. Cloth is lightly rubbed with mild sunning to the backstrip. One-half-inch spot of soiling on front board. Spine is faintly darkened. Minor toning to endpapers and page edges. A very good copy.
