    Theodore Roosevelt Signed Limited Edition Copy of Big Game Hunting in the Rockies and on the Great Plains. New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1899. Large octavo. 474 pages including an index. No. 166 of 1,000. Signed "Theodore Roosevelt" on the pictorial frontispiece, beneath a photograph showing Roosevelt in Rough Rider regalia taken by Civil War photographer George G. Rockwood. This volume combines two previous Roosevelt books Hunting Trips of a Ranchman and The Wilderness Hunter. With all 55 illustrations present and with their descriptive tissue guards. Missing the front and rear boards, spine is bound in red leather with raised boards. Gilt lettering at spine.

    Condition: Missing front and rear boards, but the interior is soundly bound. Chipping and toning at page edges. Soiling at page edges. Signed Rough Rider photograph has some foxing and toning.
