First edition, limited issue on Ruisdael paper, limited to 260 copies, of which this is No. 97, and signed by the author. Octavo. [xii], 369 pages, limitation leaf inserted at front; frontispiece and forty-eight plates inserted throughout, captioned tissue guards. Modern quarter half-calf over tan laid cloth covered boards; title stamped into leather spine; page edges untrimmed; recent endpapers.

    Condition: Minor soiling to spine. Page edges toned with some chipping, light foxing throughout volume. Some soiling to endpapers. Original spine leather has come away slightly from the rebinding. An attractive, sympathetically restored copy.
