    Quarter vellum over marbled boards with the spine lettered and ruled in gilt. Top edge gilt. Housed in original red slipcase. Missing the twenty-page Postface pamphlet. Very minor creasing to the joints. Minor shelf wear to the slipcase. A very fine and tight copy.

    Originally published in 1944 by Dial Press, Hidden Faces is the artist's only foray into the literary field.
