    Leslie Charteris. Saint's Getaway. Typed Excerpt, signed and inscribed by the author in red ink, from his 1932 story that later had a title change to Saint's Getaway. Inscribed by Charteris: "(This is not the original MS) / Leslie Charteris / 79.8.4".

    More Information:

    Saint's Getaway was originally published in 1932 in two versions and under two titles in Thriller, as The Property of the Deceased, and Two Men from Munich. First publication in book form was in the UK in 1932 by Hodder and Stoughton with the title Getaway. The first hardcover version in America was also called Getaway and published by The Crime Club in 1933. Sun Dial Press published an edition in 1943, again changing the title to The Saint's Getaway, which was also the title used by Hodder and Stoughton in their 1950 edition. White watermarked paper, two folds. 8.5 by 11 inches. Very good.
