W. Denslow. Publisher's pictorial grey-green cloth stamped in black and yellow. Corners bumped and rubbed with boards showing through, moderate edgewear, head and foot of spine pushed and worn, joints weak, rubbed and soiled. Illustrated endpapers; lacking front free endpaper, hinges weak, remnants of removed sticker to rear free endpaper verso. Internally generally clean; penciled ownership to front blank recto, ink annotation, "died May 6 1919" added beneath Baum's signature to the title page, minor foxing, minor soiling, somewhat shaken. Good or better.
