    First Edition. One of 100 numbered copies (of which 75 were for sale and this copy being numbered 35), signed by the author. Small folio. 24, [4] pages.

    Publisher's green cloth with gilt cover lettering and beveled edges, top edge gilt. Original printed green dust jacket (some wrinkles that could be ironed out). Original card slipcase with some wear. A beautiful copy of this exceedingly rare book.

    With all fifteen illustrations of probably the most famous binding of all time; the Great Omar, a jeweled binding that was two years in the making and that was lost forever with the sinking of the Titanic.  A reprint was done in 2001 (limited to 750 copies).
