    Publisher's full morocco, elaborately embossed and colorfully painted by Jean Paleologue, and signed "PAL" on rear. Titles in red on backstrip. Painted turn-ins with fully painted morocco doublures. Silk embossed endpapers. Half-title with full page water color illustration. Illustrated with 26 drypoints by Paleologue, each in four states. One state with watercolors, one state signed by Paleologue, and two sets on Japan. Each plate with tissue guard. First image lacking one Japan plate. Binding is mildly rubbed. Some edge chipping to endpaper silk. Toning to pages with occasional abrading to fore-edges. Publisher's prospectus laid in. A near fine copy of this ambitious production.
