Jean Charlot. Picture Book, 32 Original Lithographs, Inscriptions by Paul Claudel. New York: John Becker, 1933.
First edition. Limited to 500 numbered copies signed by Charlot, Lynton R. Kistler (typesetter/printer) and Merle Armitage (designer). Quarto. 128 pages. Includes thirty-two original chromolithograph images drawn directly onto the plates by Charlot.

Cream paper wrappers with black print. Minor age toning on wrappers, light wear to edges and corners; spine shows faint dampstaining and bears repairs on interior hinge. Extremely rare dust jacket is extant, but with significant wear to the edges and corners and with some portions reinforced. Although the dust jacket is tired, the book itself is in fine condition and a wonderful addition to any art book collection.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
