    Description

Helen Keller Signed Copy of Let Us Have Faith. Garden City: Doubleday, Doran & Co., Inc., 1940. Twelvemo, 78 pages. Keller inscribed the front free endpaper in pencil, "For Margaret Smith with warm greetings Helen Keller November 27th, 1942." In this small book, Keller describes the role of faith in her life and writes from her experience that "Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure." Bound in green cloth covered boards with "H.K." blind embossed to front cover. Housed in original dust jacket.

Condition: Light chipping and dampstaining to the jacket. Toning to endpapers and page edges.
