    Harlan Ellison: Lettered Death Cell Edition of Mefisto in Onyx (Shingletown, California: Mark V. Ziesing Books, 1993), first edition, 91 pages, black bonded leather with red titles, oblong 8vo (8" x 6.25"), dust jacket. Introduction and cover art by Frank Miller. Housed in a custom-made, individually keyed black metal "jail cell," lined in red velvet, designed by Arnie Fenner and manufactured by Gary Ringler. Limited to 26 lettered copies signed by both Harlan Ellison and Frank Miller, of which this is the letter "M." Winner of the Collectors Award for the most collectible book of the year. Fine in a fine dust jacket and death cell with accompanying stand and two keys. A rare and fascinating Harlan Ellison publication absolutely essential to the serious Ellison collector.
