    Dwight D. Eisenhower: The White House Years. (Garden City: Doubleday & Company, 1963), first edition, limited to 1,434 copies, two octavo volumes, including Mandate for Change, 1953-1956 (copy No.699), and Waging Peace, 1956-1961 (copy No.1171). Volume I: xviii, [1, List of Maps], [1]-650 pages, majority unopened. Volume II: xxiii, [1]-741 pages, both measure 6.75" x 9.5", and signed by the author in both volumes. The endpapers are illustrated with world maps of the Eisenhower presidency.

    Publisher's pale yellowish-green buckram, Presidential seals in gilt on front boards, spines stamped in green and gilt, top edge of text block trimmed, others rough trimmed. Both housed in publisher's slipcases.

    Condition: Handsome copies in near fine condition, many unopened pages. Signatures are bold.
