    First edition, limited to 294 numbered copies, boldly signed by Darrow. Octavo. 466 pages including Index. Color frontispiece portrait by Leonebel Jacobs. Twenty-three additional illustrations.

    Original half tan linen over blue-gray boards with gilt-stamped red leather label on spine. Deckled fore-edge. Corners a bit worn and bumped. Mild sunning to spine head; a few worn spots on leather label. Textblock is tight with bright, clean leaves. Former owner's inscription on front free endpaper. A very desirable copy of Darrow's autobiography, detailing his involvement in some of the most notorious trials of the 20th century.
