    Beat Generation Writer Jack Kerouac Signed Literary Publication containing an early story "Neal and the Three Stooges." A novelist representative of the Fifties Beat Generation, Kerouac is best remembered for his works On The Road and The Big Sur. Offered here is New Editions 2: An Anthology of Literary Discoveries, a limited first edition of 1,000 with inside cover signed "Jack Kerouac", and "Neal + The 3 Stooges, Jack Kerouac" written in blue ink on the spine. Although there is no publication date, a bibliography of Kerouac's work lists the story as being printed in New Editions 2 in 1957. The light brown/peach soft cover mini book was printed by the Pinchpenny Press in Berkley, California. The back cover describes this Kerouac story as "a romantic rhapsody of boyhood". It also refers to Kerouac as an "author of a novel soon to be published by Viking." The novel referred to is On the Road that came out later that year. The starting page of his story is dog-eared. Near fine condition with just a small area of damp staining on the front cover. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
