Publisher's gilt-stamped black cloth and paper boards. Top edge stained red. Binding slightly cocked. Corners of front board very lightly bumped. Shallow creases to head and foot of dust jacket spine and to top left edge of front panel. Near fine. [and:] The Vampire Lestat. New York Alfred A. Knopf, 1985. First edition. Signed by Rice in purple ink on the title page. Octavo. 481 pages. Publisher's gilt-stamped white cloth and paper boards. Slightly over-opened at about the middle of the book, but without cracking the spine. Top edge appears to be stained lavender with either a marbled pattern or faint water droplet stains. Light discoloration across "Knopf" at base of dust jacket spine. Very good. Second book in the Vampire Chronicles. [and:] The Queen of the Damned. New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1988. First edition.
