    Signed Limited Edition

Aldous Huxley. Brave New World. London: Chatto & Windus, 1932.

First edition, limited to 324 numbered copies, of which 314 were for sale, signed by the author on a special limitation page inserted in front. Octavo. 306 pages.

Original light yellow buckram over beveled boards with titles in gilt on a blue morocco spine label. Top edge gilt. Pages untrimmed. Slight fade to spine panel with modest soiling to the boards. Toning at the page edges and preliminary and terminal pages. Small area of tarnishing at the front of the gilt top edge. Otherwise a handsome copy in near fine condition. Offered in a custom acrylic slipcase.

Huxley's classic futuristic novel eerily anticipated real-life modern advancements in reproductive technology, biological engineering, and sleep-learning.
