London: Jonathan Cape, [1931]. Later printing. Inscribed and signed on front free endpaper recto in black ink, "For Moon / with love from Blue / Christmas, 1940." Quarto. 335 pages, 36-page publisher's catalogue at back. With numerous illustrations in text. Publisher's green cloth stamped (with a few line decorations) in gilt, spine stamped and decorated in gilt; spine heavily sunned and slightly cocked, boards sunned with a few scratches, wear. Cream colored endpapers, all edges trimmed; bookseller's pencil annotations to front pastedown, internally generally clean with a few instances of minor foxing, minor thumb soiling. Very good.

    [Together with:] Samuel Butler. The Way of All Flesh. London: Collins, 1934. Later printing. Inscribed and signed on half-title in black ink, "For Moon / with love from / Blue / Christmas, 1940." Octavo. 512 pages. Illustrated with wood engravings by John Farleigh. Publisher's purple cloth, spine and front board lettered in gilt; spine sunned, cocked, cloth torn with some losses, especially to head of spine and affecting "the" in title. Green and white pictorial endpapers, all edges trimmed, top edge stained gray; internally generally clean, bookseller's pencil annotations to front free endpaper verso. Very good.

    [And:] A. A. Milne. A Table Near the Band. London: Methuen & Co., [1950]. First edition. Inscribed and signed in strong blue ink, "For Moon / with love from / Blue / Nov. 2nd /50." Quarto. 223 pages. Publisher's red cloth, spine lettered in brown; spine sunned and a little dulled, cloth on back board pulled. Cream colored endpapers, all edges trimmed; internally clean, a few minor spots, bookseller's pencil annotations to front pastedown. Very good.
