Some moderate scuffing to the boards, especially the front board, with some wear to the mounted illustration. Wear to spine ends; corners slightly abraded. Contents sound and generally bright. A very good copy of a scarce work which is rarely offered for sale in the original edition.
Sullivan recounts his early life and service in Company B of the Texas Rangers Frontier Battalion. Chapters are devoted to the hanging of Bill Longley, the capture of Henry Carothers, the arrest of O. N. Hollingsworth, the Gordon train robbery, the murder of Edd Hartman, and numerous tales of Indian fights.
