    Ray Bradbury. The Day It Rained Forever. London: Rupert Hart-Davis, 1959. First edition. With a glorious full-page inscription signed by Bradbury to famed actor, F. Murray Abraham on the front free endpaper, which reads, in full: "For Murray! / Who was "Mr. Shumway" / and [word crossed out] "Dominguez" and "Vamenos" in / "The Wonderful Ice- / Cream Suit" - and / "Mr. Terle" in "The / Day It Rained Forever" / - With Thanks and / Admiration From / Ray Bradbury / Aug. 1965." Abraham's ownership name and partial address appear on the front pastedown. Octavo. 254 pages. Publisher's medium blue boards with silver titles. Original pictorial dust jacket designed by Joe Mugnaini. Light bump to cloth at the spine head. Heavy pencil notations to the half-title page. Jacket somewhat faded and dust-soiled, with a sunned spine, and several small chips to the edges, the largest of which is the size of half a guitar pick at the top edge of the rear panel. One tiny hole along the front spine fold. Short split along the spine fold. A very good copy with an outstanding association.
