Octavo. 239 pages. Black cloth over boards. Red lettering to front cover and spine. Top edge yellow. Slight lean to the binding. Address label affixed to front free paper. Front panel of dust jacket has a neat five-inch closed vertical cut on the front panel, which continues as a two-inch horizontal closed tear. Very good. Anatomy of Wonder, p. 177. Currey. p. 157.

    This alternate history novel by science-fiction author Philip K. Dick, suggesting what may have happened if the Axis powers had won World War II, won the Hugo Award in 1962. Neil Barron, in Anatomy of Wonder, considers the book a "cleanly written although complexly plotted work [...]. Dick's best."
