Second American printing, sold only by subscription. Octavo. xiii, [3], [1]-303 pages. One hundred and ten illustrations from the James R. Osgood & Company edition. Original green cloth, front stamped in gilt and black with central motif of Nemo using his sextant, all edges gilt. Boards rubbed and modestly soiled, rear boards moderately scuffed, front joint starting, board edges worn with minor abrasions on corners, spine slightly leaning, corners bumped, a bit of glue repair on edges. Text block edges lightly scuffed and faintly soiled, front hinge starting, title page foxed, sporadic staining on outer margins, some places over-opened. A good, sound copy.
