First American edition, three twenty-first and one twenty-second reprint. Signed. [And four copies of:] Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. New York: Arthur A. Levine Books, an imprint of Scholastic Press. First American edition, seventh reprint; with first-state dust jackets. Signed. Eight volumes. Octavo. Various paginations. Title vignettes; head-pieces. One-quarter cloth with diamond-pattern embossed paper-covered boards; spines stamped in metallic print. With original dust jackets, each consisting of a single wraparound full-color illustration by Mary GrandPré; fronts and spines stamped with raised metallic lettering; backs and flaps stamped in black. All edges trimmed. Extremely mild shelf wear to extremities of bindings, dust jackets; some rubbing noticeable on embossed letters. Miniscule brown speckling starting at some text block edges. Near fine with clean, bright interiors. Signed by J. K. Rowling on title-page at appearance hosted by Diane's Books in Greenwich, CT on October 16, 1999 to a sold-out crowd of 500, "perhaps... the last appearance J. K.     [Together with:] Four baseball caps. [Manufacture unknown, 2000]. Green with stylized embroidered "HP IV" on front above bill and "07-08-00" on back panels above strap, both in yellow. Some dust soiling; staining to inner band at front of one cap. Near fine. [And:] Two event kits for booksellers for the release of "Harry Potter IV." Manufacture unknown, copyright 2000. Each kit consists of a two-leaf folded brochure, printed in purple, illustrated, with ideas for throwing a release party; with a perforated black-and-white four-leaf set of "reproducibles" for bookseller event use. With eighteen 7.5625 x 3 inch bookmarks advertising the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with four of seven possible designs on versos. [2007]. [And:] Fifty-three "422nd International Quidditch World Cup" patches. [Manufacture unknown, 2000.] Yellow and purple shield-shaped patches with stylized "HP IV" at center, approx. 3 inches tall. Some bent at top. Near fine. With original event kit envelope from Scholastic. [And:] Four unopened packages, stacked sheets of Harry Potter stickers. [Manufacture unknown, 2000?] Approx. 3 x 2 inches, each with four stickers based on Mary GrandPré's illustrations; an owl, a golden snitch, a lightning bolt and Harry on a broomstick. Some dust soiling. Near fine. With original event kit envelope from Scholastic. [And:] Four packages, stacked sheets Hogwarts houses pennant stickers. [Manufacture unknown, 2000?] 8.5 x 3.375 with four stickers to each perforated sheet, one for each Hogwarts house. One package splitting at top, with some curling to corner of top sticker. Very good. With original event kit envelope from Scholastic. [And:] Four shipping boxes. [Approx. 2000 and 2007.] Original publisher packaging for delivery of Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban, along with two boxes from the release of Deathly Hallows. All memorabilia from Diane's Books, Greenwich, CT, an independent family bookstore.
