    Asimov's Foundation Trilogy with Signed Card

    Isaac Asimov. The Foundation Trilogy, including: Foundation; Foundation and Empire; Second Foundation. Garden City: Gnome Press, [1951-1953]. All volumes are first editions, in Currey's binding priority (A). Three octavo volumes. 255; 247; 210 pages. All volumes in dust jackets. Foundation shows mild rubbing to cloth with some bumping to corners. Spine slightly leaning and with tiny stain. Offsetting to endpapers and light foxing to edges. Somewhat worn dust jacket with adhesive residue and pulled paper to verso. Likely supplied from a library copy. [and:] Foundation and Empire has light rubbing and bumping to extremities with a sharp bump to head of spine. Foxing to boards and endpapers. Page edges toned. Chipping to jacket ends with extensive foxing on recto and verso. [and:] Second Foundation shows pronounced staining to boards and spine. Boards bowing with light wear to extremities. Owner's name stamped and date in ink on front free endpaper. Supplied jacket with several small chips and tears. The set in overall good condition. Laid in is a typed postcard, dated 1971 and signed by Asimov.
