Three octavo volumes, comprised of: Foundation; Foundation and Empire; Second Foundation. 255; 247; 210 pages. Publisher's bindings, each in Currey's A binding; in original first-state dust jackets. Backstrips a bit toned; bindings lightly rubbed, to varying degrees. Dust jacket spine panels a shade dulled; edges lightly rubbed; some occasional light rubbing; Foundation has a closed tear on the upper rear panel (about two inches); spine panel of Foundation and Empire rubbed. Overall, a near fine set. Winner of a special Hugo Award for best all-time series, awarded in 1966. Currey, pp. 17-19.
