Corners just bumped; moderate edgewear; head and foot of spine pushed, spine sunned and cocked; edges of boards slightly toned. Endpapers moderately foxed. Internally generally clean; moderate intermittent foxing, gutter overextended p. 176-177, edges untrimmed, minor edgewear. Very good. Currey 526 (A); Hammond B5. Listed as a First Purchase (Core Collection) title in Anatomy of Wonder (1-105); "perhaps more than any of his other worlds, this dramatizes humanity's fragile place in the universe."
