    Group of Sixteen Pulp Magazines, comprising: Thirteen issues of Fantastic Adventures, six "British Editions" and seven American issues, one of which has a complete Edgar Rice Burroughs story, "Slave of the Fish Men." Chicago: Ziff-Davis Publishing Company, 1941-1952. First editions. [Together with:] Two issues of Famous Fantastic Mysteries. Chicago: Popular Publications, Inc., 1949. First editions. [And:] One issue of Fantastic Novels Magazine. Chicago: Popular Publications, Inc., 1950. First edition. Sixteen volumes. Octavo. Publisher's perfect binding, pictorial wrappers; text block edges trimmed. Backstrips of issues generally sunned and wrinkled, majority chipped at ends, some with closed tears and exhibiting signs of minor glue repair; joints worn; wear, creasing, and minor nicking along edges of wrappers, some corners chipped away. Text blocks tanned and smelling slightly musty from poor paper stock, a handful of gatherings beginning to flake at fore-edges; rubbing and some small scratches. Good. Housed in two custom clamshells.
