Octavo (8.9375 x 5. 875 inches; 227 x 149 mm.). xxvi, 412, [2] pages. One two-page line-drawn map, page. 394-395. Pale blue cloth; spine stamped in white. Wavy crosshatch-patterned endpapers. Very faint soiling, toning to edges, margins and backstrip of cloth; some wear, most noticeable at bottom edge; soft bumping to corners. Edges of text block mildly toned; spot of soiling to top. Rumpled diagonal creases scattered throughout early pages of the text, appear to be a result of printing; pages 11-16, two creases at bottom half; pages 23-24, one at upper corner; pages 29-38, two diagonal creases at top half.
