Octavo (8.875 x 5.8125 inches; 226 x 148 mm.). xxvi, 412, [1, about the author], [1, blank] pages. Publisher's light blue cloth, spine lettered in white; in original dust jacket. Board edges faintly dulled; some trivial wear to the bottom edge; bottom corners just barely bent. Top edge of the text block faintly tanned with a small splash near the fore-edge. Jacket edges very lightly worn with a couple trivial nicks; folds rubbed; spine panel rubbed with some minor color loss just to the right of the title and down the center near the bottom edge. About near fine. The first novel in the Dune series. Winner of the 1965 Nebula and 1966 Hugo awards for best novel. Anatomy of Wonder (2004) II-524. Pringle, Science Fiction: The 100 Best Books 48.
