Frontispiece and nine additional illustrated plates by J. Allen St. John inserted throughout. Publisher's olive cloth, front board stamped and lettered in black and spine lettered and ruled in black, in original dust jacket. Spine very gently leaning; corners lightly rubbed; very minor wear to spine ends. Occasional mild over-opening. Dust jacket with extensive restoration addressing folds splitting, some chipping to spine ends and internal paper loss, a few letters touched up in neat manuscript, closed tears on rear panel mended; occasional mild soiling and light rubbing; faint dampstain to front panel, primarily noticeable on verso. A near fine copy in a restored jacket with a nice overall appearance; housed in a custom clamshell case.
