Backstrip slightly faded, with gilt lettering tarnished; spine ends pushed and slightly worn; light wear along joints; minor rubbing to boards, with a hint of soiling; board edges worn; corners tapped. Tiny amount of staining and some faint discoloration to endpapers; signature at front pastedown; front hinge split. Text block dulled with age; a couple of gutters split throughout, but all still sound. Good. Zeuschner, pp. 514-515.
