    Edgar Rice Burroughs. Synthetic Men of Mars. Tarzana: [1940]. First edition. Octavo. 315, [1, blank] pages. With frontispiece and four illustrations by John Coleman Burroughs inserted throughout. Publisher's full blue pebbled cloth, front board and spine stamped in red. In the publisher's laminated dust jacket. Cloth spine is sunned, soiled and somewhat edgeworn. Boards rubbed, soiled, with some edgewear. Endleaves with some offsetting and mild foxing; previous owner's signatures and markings on front and rear endleaves. Text a bit toned, with some intermittent foxing to text and plates. Jacket spine sunned and creased, headcap chipped, tailcap with a few short tears. Jacket panels with some rubbing, mild edgewear, and some thumbsoiling. Overall, good. Zeuschner, p. 315.
