Inscribed by Burroughs to his brother on the front free endpaper: "Dear Harry - / This all-Burroughs / book should be / in your library / of classics / Ed / Tarzana / June 20, 1932". Octavo. 318 pages. Illustrated by Studley Burroughs. Publisher's original light blue cloth lettered in red. Bookplate of Ella Oldham Burroughs on the verso of the half-title page with a small illustration of the Jungle Girl mounted to the recto of the frontispiece. Front joint cracked leaving the spine panel loose on one side; boards soiled and worn along the edges; front panel of original dust jacket mounted to front pastedown, else good condition and an important association copy worthy of professional restoration.
