Frontispieces and three tipped-in plates in Leopard Men, four in Tarzan the Magnificent, all on coated paper. Publisher's cloth with fronts and spines stamped. Original illustrated dust jackets, Leopard Men and Tarzan the Magnificent laminated. Fore-edges of Leopard Men and Tarzan the Magnificent rough-trimmed with top edges stained red; all edges of Lost Empire trimmed. Regular shelf wear to edges of bindings, particularly at heads and feet of backstrips; Tarzan the Magnificent dotted with pale speckle soiling; some toning to red stamping on backstrip of Leopard Men. Dust jacket spine panels fading; very mild fraying at head and feet of spine panels of Leopard Men, Magnificent, with soft creasing to flaps; repairs with color correction to spine panel of Lost Empire, flaps clipped. Mild toning to versos of dust jackets, some offsetting; most pronounced on Lost Empire with evidence of repairs at tops and bottoms of folds, spine panel. Small spots of soiling at bottom edge of text block of Leopard Men; rubbing to edges of Magnificent; toning with some spot soiling, scuffing to Lost Empire. Regular age yellowing to pages, mostly marginal; occasional staining scattered throughout Lost Empire. Good to very good. Empire with "slavery" misspelled on dust jacket, a first issue. Currey, L. W.
