Alfred Bester. Tiger! Tiger! London: Sidgwick and Jackson, [1956]. First hardcover edition, signed by the author on the half-title and dated "July '75." Octavo. [232] pages. Publisher's blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt, dust jacket. Cloth spine tailcap and rear upper corner a bit bumped, mild browning to inner rear cover at the top, text a bit toned, mild foxing to upper text block, slightly skewed. Jacket spine a bit sunned, rubbed, and lightly soiled, corners of jacket flaps a bit bumped, some rubbing to jacket, rear jacket panel slightly thumbsoiled, light marginal foxing to jacket flaps. Color correction to the base of the spine panel with a short closed tear at the bottom front panel fold. Very good. This book was later published in the United States as The Stars My Destination.
