First edition, inscribed by Rohmer on the front free endpaper: "To Dindee / With all our love from / Sax and / Elizabeth.". Octavo. 188, [189-190: publisher's ads], [191-192: blank] pages. Publisher's red paper-covered boards, spine lettered and stamped in black, publisher's imprint stamped in black to rear board, in original dust jacket. Mild bump to lower front corner tip, spine panel just a bit darkened, a nearly fine copy in fine dust jacket with 22 mm closed tear at top edge of front panel near spine fold.
