Roy Rockwell, writes Bleiler in Science Fiction the Early Years, was a "house pseudonym of the Stratemeyer Syndicate. It was used for several important series of boys' books, including Bomba the Jungle Boy, ... Dave Dashaway, Dave Fearless, and others. In most cases authorship is not known, beyond the fact that Edward Stratemeyer provided plots for other authors to expand into books."
