Publisher's patterned paper-covered boards; top edge stained dark brown, fore-edge untrimmed; in original dust jacket. Gentle spine lean; bottom edge rubbed; light wear to spine ends and corners. Endpapers faintly discolored. Dust jacket edges lightly worn, with two small chips to upper edge; rear panel rubbed; rear panel and flaps lightly foxed or soiled; spine panel faintly discolored, visible only on verso. Very good. The fourth Lew Archer novel.

Board edges rubbed with wear to spine ends and corners; backstrip just barely dulled. Top stain lightly faded; very light discoloration to endpapers. Dust jacket edges worn crown chipped with another chip at upper edge of rear panel; tidemark at bottom edge of spine panel; backstrip faintly darkened; occasional mild soiling or rubbing. Very good overall. The fifth Lew Archer novel.

Dust jacket edges very light worn with a few short closed tears; very mild soiling to rear panel. A beautiful near fine copy. The six Lew Archer novel. From the KoKo Collection.
