Ronald Reagan. An American Life. New York: Simon and Schuster, [1990]. Deluxe limited edition of 2,000 copies, of which this is number 1269, signed by the author to the limitation page. Octavo. 748 pages. Publisher's pictorial navy leather stamped in 22kt gold, with two raised bands on spine. Marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, navy satin ribbon marker with white stars. Housed in handcrafted oak presentation case with brass fittings, lined with blue velvet and adorned with the Presidential Seal and custom engraved plaque for "Samuel L. Bryant"; drawer in bottom of presentation case includes 6 audio cassettes featuring the full audio production, "Speaking my Mind: Selected Speeches with Personal Reflections."Condition: Bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally clean and tight; a few individual spots of foxing to the front endpapers. Case with minor edgewear, including a few light abrasions to corners, and light scratches to brass plaque. Near fine.
