Octavo. xxxii, 373, [374] pages; large full-color folding map ("The Arctic Region" by Gilbert H. Grosvenor) inserted at rear. Publisher's deluxe three-quarter morocco over light blue cloth covered boards, raised bands and gilt titles on spine, top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Marbled endpapers. Lower board edges lightly rubbed; backstrip just a shade dulled. Map creased at the upper half of the left margin from folding in the book; a small paper-tape reinforcement on the verso at the left edge of the horizontal centerfold; a tiny bit of fold separation along the centerfold. Near fine.
