    Description

Robert A. Heinlein. Revolt in 2100. Chicago: Shasta Publishers, 1953.

From the limited number of first editions that included an inserted page signed by Heinlein. Octavo. 317 pages. Illustrated endpapers. Introduction by Henry Kuttner.

Red cloth over boards with black backstrip. Some sunning to the spine of the dust jacket; also, on back panel of dust jacket is one small closed tear and a penciled notation of the published price of the book. A very attractive copy of a scarce Heinlein item. Very good.

This is the third and final of Heinlein's Future History Series that Shasta published between 1950 and 1953. These volumes collect the short stories Heinlein wrote which all fit into the same futuristic timeline. The Future History timeline is printed on the endpapers. Includes three stories previously published in Astounding Science Fiction: "If This Goes On-;" "Coventry;" and "Misfit." There is also a foreword by Heinlein, "Concerning Stories Never Written."

    Currey, p. 233.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
