    More Information: Richard Saunders (d. 1692) ejected Minister born at Peyhembury, went to Oxford at about the age of 16 and continued there until 1642 when he was jailed after the coming of Bartholomew-day. In 1672 he was in Tiverton where he remained until his death. "As to his and his judgment solid..." [Robert Carel of Credition in his funeral sermon, quoted in some length in Edward Calamy, & Samuel Palmer's, The Nonconformist Memorial, 1802: Vol 2, p45ff.] Saunders also whote "Plenary possession makes a Lawfull Power, 1651; A Balm to Heal Religious Wounds, 1652; and, A View of the Soul, 1682.
